Boarding

Johns Creek Veterinary Clinic is proud to offer indoor climate controlled veterinary supervised boarding for dogs, cats and exotics. Our trained animal care technicians take pride in having the ability to meet each individual pet’s medical & emotional needs.

 Our hours of operation are:

               Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm

               Saturday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

               We also offer pre-arranged Sunday pick-up    

 In conjunction with our boarding services we also offer Doggy Day Care. Everyone from puppies who are working on perfecting their potty training to socialization skills, to the senior pet that needs that extra TLC throughout the day, frequent our clinic. 

    Services & Policies

    Our guests get taken out twice daily. We highly recommend taking advantage of our Extra Play Time. With our “extra play time” our Animal Care Technicians take pets on a ten-minute nature walk up to three extra times per day.

   All of our K9 guests go outside and play, and of course get dirty. In turn, all of our K9 guests are required to receive a “Clean Up” bath before their departure. If your canine companion needs more than just a bath, you can upgrade to “The Works” which includes deodorizing shampoo, ear cleaning, nail trim, gland expression, blow & brush out, bandanna and perfume. We also have a professional groomer available if your pet needs a hair cut, de-matting and/or our de-shedding treatment.

   We provide comfortable bedding and sterilized bowls to all of our guests. We do not accept personal belongings to be left with your pet. We truly understand that you would like something from home to be with your pet companion, but we sterilize everything and that process can damaged personal items or they get misplaced.

   We take pride in being a flea free environment. We continue to strive to protect your companions by making it mandatory that all of our guests be on monthly veterinary approved flea prevention. If your pet is not on prevention we will administer a Capstar® upon arrival at owners expense.

   We provide all of our guests with a diet made by Purina®, that is specifically formulated to help prevent gastric upset while boarding. If you prefer to bring your own diet for your pet, we will be more than happy to follow your feeding details. We require that each meal portion be packaged in a zip lock bag with the pet’s name clearly written on the bag. NO TUPPERWEAR OR ANY OTHER PACKAGING PLEASE.

    For the health and safety of your pet we require that all of our guests be current on vaccinations and a negative fecal test.

   We require that our Boarding Menu be filled out in detail, for each member of your family that is staying with us. We encourage owners to download and have it filled out before dropping off since that may help in expediting your check-in.     A staff member who lives on the JCVC property monitors our boarding facility overnight.
