 Dr. Hargett & Dr. Lorie take pride in providing excellent health care to the pet companions in our community. We are grateful for all the wonderful clients we have come to know and appreciate their loyalty. In addition to providing illness and wellness care, we try to give back to our community. We reach out to the community in several different ways. We are proud to say that in 2010, Johns Creek Veterinary Clinic gave back over $50,000 to our community!!! Our staff routinely provides free care for hardship cases. We also provide large discounts to several local rescue groups, including C.A.R.L., Guide dogs for the blind, and Golden Retriever Rescue. We also participate with SpayGA to provide low cost spay and neuters. Since 2005 we have successfully fostered and adopted over 150 dogs and cats in Johns Creek. These pets would have been sent to a shelter without our assistance. Our doctors also participate in local schools to discuss the importance of veterinarians in our society. Thank you for supporting us year after year. We appreciate your loyalty. We will continue to offer the best in veterinary medicine and hope to continue giving back. The staff of Johns Creek Veterinary Clinic works very closely with several rescue organizations, including Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. Many times these abandoned and neglected orphans need our help. We provide medical care and when needed, a cozy place to stay while they get placed in a foster home. We continue to help as many organizations as we can. At Johns Creek we routinely engage with students and interns who are interested in veterinary medicine. We are partnered with many local rescue organizations in which we volunteer veterinary and technician time and care to pets who are being fostered and adopted. We also have our own adoption organization which has rehabilitated, fostered, and adopted hundreds of pets who were homeless in the Johns Creek area. We participate with Spay Georgia to offer affordable spays and neuters to families who qualify in a an effort to help control the pet population.
It is with sincere gratitude that I thank you for taking time away from your job to speak to our seventh-graders at Career Day, last week. Both teachers and students have expressed much positive feedback regarding your presentation. On behalf of our faculty and staff, please know how much we appreciated the time and energy you devoted to make our event a tremendous success. They are still asking me about you and when you're coming back. Yesterday I made copies of your Pet Wellness Fair flier and placed inthe teachers'mailboxes.
