Wellness Plans

The doctors at JCVC strive to educate our clients on the importance of wellness and preventative medicine. We recommend yearly bloodwork on all of our patients. If patients are under 7 years of age, we recommend juvenile wellness bloodwork screens to monitor for anemia, infection, cancer and organ function. If your pet is over 7 years of age we recommend a senior wellness screen. This screen includes an organ check, a thyroid level and a urinalysis as well as complete blood count. Remember that each year of a dog or cat's life counts as 7 human years. Early detection of any internal problems prior to clinical illness is key to maintaining health and wellbeing for your pet.
